Q: Can we bring our kids?

A: While we love your little cowboys and cowgirls, we kindly request an adults-only celebration. We want all the parents to be able to boot scoot and boogie all night without having to wrangle their herd! Enjoy a night off, and let’s make it a memorable evening together!

Q: What’s the dress code?

A: Western - Formal!

Q: I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR! ANY SUGGESTIONS?

A: No worries! Western formal attire, akin to Western black tie, elegantly blends the sophistication of formal wear with the rugged charm of Western culture. For men, this typically includes a tailored dress shirt, a suit or stylish jacket or blazer, slacks, and classic cowboy boots, often accessorized with a decorative belt buckle or bolo tie if you want to jazz up your look. For women, Western formal attire features an elegant dress complemented by stylish cowboy boots - if you're not into boots, opt for a stacked or platform heel so you don't sink into the grass! Accessories such as statement jewelry and a fashionable Wide Brim or Cattleman hat enhance the Western aesthetic! Don't fret, if you aren't feeling a western vibe just make sure you're dressed in formal wear, and you'll be just fine! Remember, NO JEANS are allowed.

Q: What kind of food will be served?

A: We’ll be serving a delicious farm-to-table feast crafted with fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. Every dish is made using all-natural, non-GMO, and organic produce, grown and raised right here on the farm. Our menu will feature a variety of seasonal vegetables and herbs, paired with pasture-raised, grass-fed meats. The owner of the farm, who is also the chef, creates each dish with ingredients picked straight from the gardens and meats raised on-site, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience. And don’t worry—we’ll have options to accommodate any dietary restrictions!

Q: When and where is the wedding?

A: We will be tying the lasso on October 4th, 2025, at The Farm at Glenwood Mountain, NJ—come ready for a fun-filled Western weekend!

Q: Where should we stay?

A: Information about travel & lodging can be found under the travel tab! We recommend starting your search for accommodations at Airbnbs, the Grand Cascades Lodge, or Mountain Creek Resort.

Q: Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

A: The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be held in the barn! The farm has stunning views, so fingers crossed for sunny skies. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening.

Q: I have never worn cowboy boots or a hat. What should I know?

A: When wearing cowboy boots, ensure they are clean and polished and paired with appropriate attire. Typically for men, the outline of the boots should not be visible in your pants. For women, a taller boot looks amazing with a dress and can elevate your look! Since this wedding is at a farm, opting for a boot or a stacked heel/platform heel will be optimal to avoid sinking into the ground! Cowboy boots & hats are not required, but they are very much welcomed—we’ll definitely be rocking ours! Remember, you don't need the most expensive pair, as there are plenty of affordable options out there. However, if you're looking for a pair you can grow with for years to come, we recommend Lucchese, Ariat, or Tecovas. If you need help searching for a hat, both men and women can rock a cattleman hat, and women can also wear a wide-brim hat. Since this is a formal occasion, a straw hat is not considered proper etiquette.

Q: How can we get in the mood for the big day?

A: We’ve put together a special wedding playlist to help you get ready and feel the excitement leading up to the big day! It’s full of our favorite Western tunes, love songs, and feel-good hits. Grab your boots, start two-steppin’, and enjoy! These are some of our favorite dance in the kitchen, belt on a car ride songs!

Q: What about gifts?

A: Your presence is the greatest gift! But if you’d like to contribute, we’ve set up a registry under the "Registry" tab

Q: What should we do if we have more questions?

A: Feel free to reach out to us anytime! We’re happy to help with anything you need.
